I'm making a collection of short memories which will be moved - in a symbolic but also concrete way - on a colored scarf during the event. Nowadays I'm preparing a first piece of scarf with ours memories. I ask you to write down (in the language you consider must effective) a short memory tells about a scene or a situacion when you were children, a domestic situacion, in yours families. A situacion in which you felt as if someone was caring for you, or in which you felt basically happy and safe.
You have also to underline a word wich could synthetize the whole memory. oh... Max 8 lines.

i remember my mother reading us *bedtime stories* every night. i remember how perfect and elegant her voice sounded as she read from our favourite books over and over and over again.

I remember coming home from school one day in November. The sky was filled with rain and dark grey, as if it was night already, and I was cold and wet and just so worn out with how much I hated school that I wanted to cry. The door of the house led straight to the kitchen and the moment I opened it warmth and yellow light and the smell of lentil soup poured out and wrapped right around me. Sitting with my family around the table I felt as long as we faced each other over lentil soup and kept our backs to the outside we could hold any darkness at bay.
If this is too long let me know, it is less than 8 lines on a page but maybe you meant in the blog? The underlined words should be "lentil soup".
