i apologise for not contributing to this blog sooner and also for not being able to contribute in italian. i have been doing my best to follow the blog entries by translating them with babelfish but of course the translation is very crude but i have been very inspired by all of your entries.
i'm writing this from london where i live and where i met elena through work.
this is the piece i would like to propose for paesi delle meravigille:
'Anatomy of a Street Scene'
poetic street scenes created with words and pictures on index cards that can be placed in any sequence and length. the audience can move the cards around as much as they like to create different street scenes and possibly they could also make their own cards to add to the work.
the cards or 'sections of street' are a catalogue of moments on streets - things that happen, things that exist, architecture, animals, attitudes...
these are some examples that i made although the ideas still need to be developed further and there will be many cards and different categories.
this work does not use a lot of space but does need good light and i will need to make arrangements for something for it to be displayed on.
unfortunately i will not be able to come to brescia until the 19th of november so i apologise for not being able to meet all of you sooner and help with the organisation of the event. if there is anything that i can do like design invitations, please just ask.

ciao, mi scuso per non aver contribuito prima al blog e anche per non poterlo fare in italiano. Questo è il lavoro che vorrei proporre per PDM (paesi delle meraviglie)-
Anatomia di una scena di strada.
Scene di strada paoetiche create con parole e immagini su carte da classificazione (vedi immagine ) che possono essere collocate in qualsiasi sequenza o lunghezza. Il pubblico può spostare le carte per creare le loro proprie scene di strada e magari possono fare anche loro le loro carte da aggiungere al lavoro.
Le carte sono un ctalogo di momenti di strada - cose che succedono- cose che esistono - architettura- animali - atteggiamenti.
Questo sono alcune prove che ho fatto, ma l'idea ha ancora bisgono di essere sviluppata. ci saranno molte carte e molte categorie diverse
Questo lavoo non ha bisgon di molte spazio, ma ha bisogno di buona illuinazione e dovrò sutdiare qualche modo per cui possa essere esposto.
Sfortunatamente non potrò venire a Brescia prima del 19 di novembre, mi scuso per non essere in grado di incontrarvi prima e aiutare con l'organizzazione dell'evento. Se c'è qualcosa che posso fare per il design di inviti etc. per piacere fatemi sapere.

Hi Monique,
glad to read about your project for PDM. It sounds interesting and funny, even if I don't undestand perfectly how the work will be staged (?). Is it something like a file folder? A carpet of drawings and little scenes that could be organized by the public? Does it need a table and a real box - like the ones you could find in an office?
I'm also interested to see your work as artist. Have you got a website? Can you post some pictures?
